The site is clean, so that is good, but things go down hill from there. The logo and branding are non existent. Just type converted into a graphic, which effects the trustworthiness as well. If it looks fly-by-night, then it seems fly-by-night. Invest in your brand this lets people know you have invested in the company and plan to be around. Template design starts off good, but then seems to give hint that it was trimmed down from a larger template. The header has a different style for each compnent left in use. Text effects on products and categories is unprofessional. Product descriptions are long and if you do not already want this product, i am not certain that the product presentation and copy will sell you on it. But they do exist and likely come from the manufacturer. Navigation was doing good until i tested the checkout button on the shopping cart page. The checkout is broken, the HTTPS_SERVER url are bad. No orders will be placed on this site until this is fixed. No other navigation is as important as the steps through the checkout process. Trustworthiness is barely there. If not for the phone number on the contact us page, one would have no reason to believe this was a real company selling these products. Put your phone number out front in your header or footer. Display some trustmarks from your payment provicer, privacy vendor, ASV, hacker safe, something. Contact Information is solid but it is only on the contact page. It's a good start, but far from over. Keep at it. |
