I am using an AlgoZone template and trying to edit the "tr.productListing-even". It currently has a background-color added. My preference is to have a border around this listing or at least a border on the top or bottom to seperate it from the listings above and below.

When I try to add a "border:medium;" and also adding a border color or any other border to this setting and nothing happens on the page.

Can a line or border or anything like that be added to this instead of using a background color?

Thanks for your help.

Did you accomplish this?

im finding the only way to fix cre / algo templates is to go back in and rewrite all of the tpl files.

for some unknown reason, algo/cre use nested tables. they, unfortunately for us...are the only ones in the industry that do this. they also wont acknowledge this standard in the forums.. we have asked for it for years.. i think it is the algo connection that prevents efficient 2010 templating.

can you add background-color? my guess is your styling some random hardcoded nested table.
i only say that because thats what I've found with <6.4. ill bet you have a BORDER =0 in your tpl file?

Try checking out the /content folder for a .tpl.php that sounds like your file. You will save a lot of time rewriting rather than chasing down the half-ass tags they give us. ( i've been a cre customer for 4ish years)

Good Luck M8

I don't remember exactly what I did, but off the top of my head I did edit the nested file to make it happen.

Thanks for checking with me on this.

I keep learning every day.
