I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but I was referred here since my problem is confusing people.

I had my shipping set to using a flat rate, but since many of my items are of different sizes I want to change that to using the USPS shipping Module. Which according to the USPS is correct on their side and told me I needed to contact my "OS Commerce for assistance". Which I have, but was also sent here.

The user ID and password are entered correctly. The server is set to production. My handling fee is set to 1.00 to cover those shipping supplies.

The tax class is set to "none" and the shipping zone is set to "none".

I only have two shipping methods which are Priority and First Class.

Now for the odd part. Only weights that qualify for first class show up, and not those for priority.

But now here is where it really gets weird. I have two test profiles set up. One in the same state as me but a different town, and another for another state. Last night the shipping worked for an out of state customer and they even paid for their order and it was correct. Now today it's not working for those that are out of state but shows up for those in state. This is for weights that qualify for first class only and does not register for a priority mail shipping rate. But it won't work for both at the same time, (first class only)

This is how I have my items set up.

Since the attributes don't allow you to add in weights I had to abandon that for the size and price. Since it's going to cost more to ship a 8oz bottle than a 2oz bottle.

So this is what I ended up doing. On the listing of the item, I had the product weight that is found at the top of the page set to zero and the price is set to zero as well. Since it's confusing for some to understand the base price and then add on price for larger sizes. I wanted them to see one price.

Then I chose to take advantage of the "Inventory Control Options (Sub Products)". Since you can enter the name as the size, it's own price and the weight of that particular item.

Here is a screen shot of how I have that set up. But it works for first class just not anything over 13 oz for either in state or out of state but not both.....

Is there anyone that knows what i'm doing wrong with this, I've gone though pages and pages on my admin pages trying to see if i missed something somewhere else that would reflect my shipping module.

The USPS insists that it's on my end as this was their last reply to my email asking them why it might work for first class but not priority.

Dear USPS Customer,

I have verified your account is ACTIVE and EVERYTHING on our side is up and running CORRECTLY on the production server. You will need to contact your 3rd party shopping cart OS Commerce for assistance.

Thank you.
