Hi... I don't want to approve new accounts from pending, I want to them be approved on sign up. Not using email validation, this is turned off.

I thought having this turned off would mean accounts would be set to approved status. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Using CRE Loaded v6.2 B2B[12.1 (SP1)]

Any ideas... Thanks is advance!

yes.. those are two different things

in b2b settings (in admin last link on left column)
Require Account Approval to false.. but that will just put them in the retail group.. you will need to manually move them to another group.. out of the box

Yes, they should still show as pending as they never validated their account.. as it is not required (when set to false)

They would not be validated by simply setting it to false.. but will still be able to checkout and such (just as if they would have validated if set to true)

I dont know in the previous versions but in 6.4B2B if validation is off the account status is set to "Aprove" automaticaly, is a code in create_account.php, if validation is false then acount status is "aprove" else is "Pending".

Anyway I found the problem, as it wasnt for all the accounts, I thought is random, but is not, it happend for the customers who purchased without account. When a customer decide to purchase without creating the account, the account shows in "Pending Customer" after the customer paid and when is redirected back to the checkout_success.php the session and the record are destroyed so the customer is removed from the "Pending Customer", but that only happend if the customer finish the transaction and land on the checkout_success.php page.

If the transaction fail or the customer decide the leave the store before confirming the order, the record remain and the customer will show under "Pending Customer"
