When I try to create a new account in the Customer/Orders section of admin, I receive the following error message after I try to submit the form:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function tep_validate_email() in /home/content/00/5421700/html/bestdiscountpetsupplies/admin/create_account_process.php on line 103"

When I try to save the changes I made in my About ME page I receive the following error message:

"1062 - Duplicate entry '2-1' for key 1

UPDATE pages_to_categories SET categories_id = '1', page_sort_order = '20' WHERE pages_id = '2'

[TEP STOP]"


Any suggestions? Please let me know.

What version are you working with? It sounds like you're missing some files or have a mismatch of files. That function should be in that file. Compare the installed files with the original from CRE for mismatches.

Thank you for your response about Level Ten in my other post. I did purchase the template from them for a little over $100. I didn't and will not host with them.

How do I compare my files with CRE's originals?

I believe it's version 6.4 Pro. Here's my version.php file txt:

Hi Datoad,

I do not know if you already have a solution for the first error mentioned. If not, I do not really have a solution, but more a work-around-it.

In both admin/create_account_process.php (line 147) and admin/customers.php (line 121) you can simply outcomment the tep_validate_email problem. Start the line with /* and end with */.

It might not be the best solution, but it works.


If you already have a real solution, please let me know!
