i have followed all the instructions in the install guide
i have come to the final stage in admin panel. i write exactly the same login and password but it gives error..especially firefox give an error saying the connection is not safe do not continue ..
i can not login to the admin panel.. my front store works under my website but i can not get into the admin panel
the error in IE says the security certificate belogs to another site.
please help

Are you using your own cert or a shared one ? also when you go to your website with https:// do you get the same issue ? It might be a config issue. Please gave a little more info.

I am not using a certificate at all.. By certificate you mean a security certificate i guess..
with https:// i cant not even see the admin login page.. when i remove s from https:// then i can see the login page for admin..

edit your admin/includes/configure.php

look for this

define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true'); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?
define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true'); // secure webserver for catalog module

change it to false
