I know I've come across this before but I cannot find it, if you can point me to a solved post I'd really appriciate it.

When saving a product the Gross price just goes back to the net price, for example if the product is 100, the tax at 10% gives a Gross of 110, then I save and it reverts back as if I had never added the tax.

Please help if you can, this is very frustrating!

Is the product assigned to a tax class from the drop down?
what version and patch are you using?

that's exactly it, but it's not taking its value, if I change the tax class back to none and then back again, it will change the gross amount but on saving it removes it.

The version is 6.2 Pro 13.2, will upgrading to patch 14 fix this?

Any ideas?

Why stop at patch 14.. 6.4.1a is the latest and greatest

patching to 6.2/14 worked, should have tried that before posting but it's good that it's now known.

This client is not willing to pay me to redev the template to 6.4 nor pay for the upgrade so that's not an option.

On saying that I now have two b2b and one pro project on the table so will hopefully.

there is another patch that you would want to use 6.2.14a Admin Accesss Vulnerability Security Patch.. but keep in mind.. there are multiple security issues with the 6.2 base code

if your clients customer data security is not important.. nothing else you can do
