How does the website owner add images to the "Send Email to Customers" link. Also, they currently are limited to send it to 50 customers but it is sending transmission errors after 25. Ideas?

Images can be added through the html editor; make sure settings are correct in Admin/Configuration/E-Mail Options (eg Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails is true) and /Editor (HTML editor enabled.)

The second question - where's the 50 customer limit evident? What's the error you're getting?

Thank you Simon. I used to be able to just copy the photo and paste it directly. Now that does not work. In order to use the HTML, I would have to upload the photos to a hosting site - an added step.

The 50 emails might be a limit established by my webmaster/hosting provider.

Here's the message I receive. The problem is I am not even getting the 50, I receive the message after 25. For confidentiality I changed the identifying info (email and website).

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

c2000@hotmail.com
Domain abc.com has exceeded the max emails per hour (50) allowed.
Message discarded.

That's true - if you're using Pro/B2B I think there's an image manager under Admin/Tools that makes this straight forward though.

Yes, definitely talk to your hosting provider - sounds very low. They may have a per hour/day limit.

Thanks. I cannot locate the image program under tools. There is an images profile under the Configuration but that is solely to select the sizes.

Not sure what happened as to why I can no longer copy into the email. I may have to take the log route.

I would think CRE would provide an option to email customers new product lists with photos. It would make my life so much easier.

If you aren't using 6.4.x Pro or B2B you won't have the image manager.

Why not use the newsletter function?
