Dear cre loaded members,

With our development reaching the half way point we are pleased to announce a FREE mobile commerce web app builder for the IPhone, IPad and Android phones:

http://www.mobi-cart.com/

MobiCart is a free app that can work as a standalone application or by using our API can be linked up to any 3rd party shopping cart.

With the launch date approaching we wanted to see if any members would be interested in integrating cre loaded with MobiCart.

Any integration would be credited to the developer and be featured on our App Marketplace which is also launching soon.

Thanks again,

Wladimir

Hello,

Some of you may have heard that Magento is releasing their m-commerce app mid-July.

The pricing for their app will be as follows:

Setup fee - $799
Yearly maintenance fee - $699
Source code (per app) - $6,999

You will all be glad to hear that MobiCart will be FREE!

Kind Regards,

Wladimir

Magento is a joke. They took a good product, and totally screwed it by putting a $10k+/yr price tag on it. Yeah, I can get a custom cart built and maintained for less.

I am currently using this application which makes my site looks professional. It is definitely easy to use that attracts more customers. As of now, I have no problem using it.

Acekin,
Can you provide more info, maybe a link to your site so others can see it in action.

How did you get access to it already?

Hi Guys,

For those of you that missed our first newsletter, read all about our launch in Silicon Valley:

@kraymitchell - Dont think Acekin is talking about MobiCart as no one has been given access yet.

Kind Regards,

Wladimir

I too would be interested to look at this project.

We run a number of CRE e-commerce sites, and developing mobile sites for them is pretty high on the agenda.

Hello everyone,

We are excited to announce that our private beta launch in Silicon Valley went extremely well and you can read all about it below:

http://mobicart.createsend.com/T/Vie...F4D21E9B895BA4

It has links to our presentation and some screenshots.

You can also find our brand new site here: http://www.mobi-cart.com

MobiCart will be released late next week to the public and soon after we will have our API ready so a CRE Loaded integration can get started.

I wanted to try and organise a group if more than one person was interested in helping out and also getting a forum admin on board.

Can anyone guide me to who the best person is I should speak to?

Thanks again,

Wladimir

Hi Guys,

We are exited to announce that Mobicart is now live www.mobi-cart.com

In terms of integrating with CREloaded, we need to wait for our API which will be ready in January.

In the meantime you can still use Mobicart, but you will need to use our CMS instead of your own.

Thanks again,

Wladimir

Hi Guys,

There have been a few questions come up regarding MobiCart and what it does, and the difference between a native app and a mobile CSS theme.

MobiCart is not a native app that enables you to manage your shopping cart admin panel. MobiCart has a built in CMS, however, instead of creating you a website, MobiCart will create you a native app.

Now the issue is if you lets say have 1,000 products in your shopping cart, you need to get them into MobiCart without having to type them all out again. This is where our API comes in.

The API can be made to work simply so you could import all your products into MobiCart, and when an order was placed on a phone, that order would be pushed back up to your shopping cart. You can also extend this and manage every aspect of MobiCart from within your shopping cart. You could create a page in your admin called 'mobile' and have all the settings needed in there.

Now the next question is, why not just have a mobile CSS theme instead of native app.

Our advice would be to have both as a mobile CSS theme is still very good to have and also quick to implement.

However there are many features which is a mobile CSS theme cannot do. With a native app you can do things such as:

1) Enhanced UI
2) Push notifications
3) Stores locators
4) On-device loyalty schemes
5) Select from address book
6) Barcode scanning
7) Location based services

The list goes on. The above features are only possible with a native app and open up a whole load of possibilities.

The best part of all this is MobiCart is free and open source! Designers can build and sell new themes and developers, extensions.

Thanks again,

Wladimir
