After a few months of absence we are back now to present our project which started 6 months ago with the upmost discretion.
Among our selection of osC software, of course CRE Loaded has been chosen to work with MyECP and today we are in a test phase to be certain to give you a totally reliable bridge .
We are a French company which develops projects of this type for years now. At our beginning we have started to do some "bridging" with
phpNuke and
CRE Loaded 6.15 (see the example here
http://www.metashop-fr.com)
Then our attention focuses on
Joomla 1.0.xx (which is for us the best portal) and on
CRE Loaded 6.2. This project has not been brought to the end because meanwhile
Joomla 1.5 went out.
We have then restart working from scratch and thanks to our experience we have improved a lot o things and mainly in the level of compatibility and reduced the number of modifications to do while installing CRE Loaded. Only 3 code lines are now used to activate the bridge !
We also study the compatibility with future components. As you known, osC has a very strong community which produces a great number of contributions, it was then very important to develop a "bridge" which can manage all these contributions. This point is nowadays neglected by other bridges which require a lot of modifications and that can be very painful.
Another very important point for the bridge is the design. Today to find a CRE Loaded template at a moderate price is very difficult and furthermore it is very complex for an average user to build his own template.
Working with Joomla design is a tremendous benefit thanks to the different exiting professional template "clubs" for this CMS.
There is in particular the Ajax Mootools module which
Joomla 1.5 use, which allow you to emphasize your products as for example in the module named
RokSlideshow =>
http://demo.rockettheme.com/extensions/?extension=rokslideshowThe product
JFusion will give you the opportunity to install a
phpBB3, or even a
SMF in "bridge frameless" mode.
We have done a video for you which will allow you to better understand and see the working of our bridge named
MyECP =>
http://myecp-creloaded.linethis.netIn the future
MyECP will provide more complete options to rule the bridge in a few clicks.
We will not forget to give you a date on the official release of
MyECP - CRE LoadedNew sections will be soon created on our forum to bring you a support on
MyECP.
