How does 3D CART compare to CRELoaded?

Does anyone here know anything about 3D CART? It's the only other cart we're left with to compare against CRE.

The main advantage as I see it as a non-user for CRE is there are lots of modules/features you can add so that the cost of custom programming doesn't stand in the way of implementing features.

But I do see that 3D stores run really fast and I am really impressed. Their custom programming is reasonable, but of course that could conflict with current features and have to be corrected.

We're currently on the uncompiled version of Miva, and it's really slow.

speed is generally not an issue, especially with 6.3

stores with 100k products run just as fast as stores with 3 (within split seconds) it is more on the server side

No matter what platform, expect custom programing to run about the same per hour/feature.. but with cre being based on osc, there is a much larger pool of coders and add ons that anyone can do themselves (for free)
