Having attribute issues....sort order is still not working correctly and see this post for another attribute issue I am having:

http://www.creloaded.com/forums/Forums/ ... 26079.html

Also my subproducts still sort alphabetically even though they are set to sort by price. This started in 6.3.2 and is still continuing in 6.3.3

cheapo,

Thanks for your post.

The reason: because in 6.3.2 the serial requirement for standard got erased. And along with 150 other issues, we fixed that. So please go here:

http://www.creloaded.com/sss_serial_dispenser.php

and get your 100% completely free serial for your 100% completely free CRE Loaded standard.

(yes you have to login to get to that page, but accounts are 100% completely free)

So I have to ask...
Why do I need a serial at all?
How long does it last?
and at some time in the future am I going to have to pay for this "100% completely free CRE Loaded standard"?

In anticipation of the 3rd question being answered "no" then why put us through the need to get a serial for a free product?

Also the Valid Products and Valid Categories still doesn't work when attempting to add a coupon for selected products. (one main reason for me to upgrade - but now I have nags and a serial # requirement too, but no fix for this).

Irritating!!!!

1. Because we are evil
2. 1 year - but only serves as a reminder to consider upgrading to our Pro products - i mean dude after 1 year, come on :)
3. nope, its free forever
3.b? So we can track actual activations versus downloads and other evil reasons.

So should I open a bug ticket for this problem too?

Sal, as we chatted about, I cannot add Sub-Products when editing an order since patching to 6.3.3, and I'm glad you guys are already attacking this. This was not a problem in 6.3.2.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi

I have a Live shop running OSC2.2

I have just upgraded my Old 6.2pro to a 6.3pro

Due to the 6.2 never been used as a live shop it never had customer data in it so when I upgraded I just had a clean shop

Can I use the Converter tool to Convert info from the OSc to the CRE6.3 ?

in short since I haven't been able to make the converter tool work in the 6.3 I am assuming it hasn't been set up to work with it yet, Is there plans to make a OSC to CRE6.3 converter Tool ?

Or do I have to convert the OSC data into my 6.2 Build then upgrade that to the 6.3 ? If it is this way then that's not really going to work for me since the data will be out of date by the time the new 6.3 shop is ready to go live

I have a work around in my head but that involves creating a 6.2 shop again and updating it with the data from the Live OSC shop then upgrading the shop to 6.3 then taking that SQL data Dump and inserting it into the 6.3 shop I am designing Now and that's a long winded way of doing it
So ideally I need a a OSC to CRE6.3 converter Tool

nigecon,

Thanks for the post. Yes for now, you would have to go from osc to 6.2 then upgrade that to 6.3

however you only need the intermediate 6.2 DB and installation, you don't need to actually use it. (the 6.3 upgrader does need to find a completed configure.php in the 6.2 folder.

After doing the upgrade you may need to enable your default template if it is one that does not exist in the 6.2.

in www.creloaded.com/support/documentation/ yo will find upgrade instructions to go from 6.2 to 6.3

And yes we will update our osc converter in the weeks to come.

Hi Sal

Thanks for the reply,

Can you tell me is that going to be a week, 2 weeks or are we realy looking at 1-2 + months for the converter

I find it strange that the 6.3 has been let lose on the world now for perhpas 6 months surely you would be wanting to have the conversion system in place to be an other string in your bow for newcommers to CRE to convert their existing OSC shops to the 6.3

If you can say its a week then i can prob hold off if its longer then i will have to do the other way which lets face it is a faff and a long winded way of doing it

I am tempted to just manauly load the Catalog with a 1000 + prouducts just so every this is cool but thats going to take a long long time, but its the custmers info i want to get across more so that they still have their account and we can mail them re the new website I dont fancy emailing them from the old site then telling them to resign up

When someone like me says weeks, that means over a month.

Now we do come with Easy Populate which allows you to import 1000's of products in one fell swoop.

Hers some possibly useful (possibly lame) Easy Populate documentation

http://www.creloaded.com/pages.php?pID= ... 16_147_155

I did not write it, and we fired the guy that did. I also did not read it, so let me know if it's any good.
