i have updated my 6.3 standard store with the updates 6.3.1, 6.3.2, 6.3.3, and i am having a problem installing the final patch 6.4.. i get this error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homepages/38/d264884424/htdocs/sublimefurniture/upgrade/includes/classes/XMLParser5.php on line 33

The best guess I have is that the issue is caused by the PHP version you are using. Is it PHP4? Note that public, private and protected declarations are only used in PHP5 and not supported in PHP4 so it is possible that the PHP version is the problem.

Check it out and if you are running PHP4 upgrade to version 5. Or if you are using a web hosting service for your web site ask your support to upgrade the PHP version for you. This should help.
