Lol hell we enjoyed making your life hell and will continue to do so for every problem we find.

And yes 6.4.1 is the best CRE yet things actually work which is nice, no doubt php 5.3.1 will change all that but the devs have done a cracking job for this christmas present so enjoy until 6.4.2 fixes everything that got missed ;)

Merry Xmas

Thanks to all involved that took their time to go through this release with a fine-toothed comb.

Jason,... keep being annoying! Keeps us on our toes.

Happy Holidays, all

Ready to install for 6.4Pro. Besides a full back-up, do I need to do anything special if I'm using an Algozone template for 6.4Pro?

A few lines (busy with the upgrade process) which needs to be fixed in the next release:

1) in the upgrade-screen you only see upgrading from v6.3, no upgrade from v6.4.0.a ?
I think there must be always an option to upgrade from the previous version !

2) in \catalog\admin\runtime\ you see language-maps like english\ etc.
\catalog\admin\runtime\english\ contains more files (9 files in total) then the other language-folders which contains just 1 file.

3) same thing as (2) but in \catalog\runtime\ (8 files instead of 9 in \english), 1 file in the other language-maps.

4) in \catalog\admin\editors\tiny_mce\langs\ you see just 1 languagefile (en.php).
where are the other language-files ??

5) Upgrading by replacing files is still a risky thing, old version files (and maybe old bugs)
will stay in your shop.
And what about database-changes ??? And some functions are removed also.
To be sure I have a fresh shop again, I am reinstall my whole site again
(full backup is made ofcourse) from scratch.

6) About the languages: it would be great if more languages could be added to the package and a few nice templates.

Stupid Noobie question I am sure....

I have a new cart (6.4.0 Pro) and in my haste to get "up n running" I made a ton of little tweaks and changes and only documented half of them. (never again...)

Is there anyway prior to performing this upgrade to do a file compare from the "stock" 6.4 files to my "customized" 6.4 install to see what files I changed?

Thoughts, suggestions?

And, I have already contemplated the "long walk - short pier" so that is already spoken for! :)

I just compaired both databases structures (B2B v6.4.1 and v6.4.0.a) and their are some differences... Some tables are removed, added or changed.

The complete diff-file is attached (openoffice format).

If you do rebuild your shop from scratch (and add all the changes after it), you can use your old
B2B v6.4.0.a database: but you must do some corrections on it. You can use the info in the diff-file I have addded to this message.

Just to help you all !

Have fun ! :D

I found the patch "read me" to be unclear.

What I did to upgrade from 6.4.0 to 6.4.1 is below:

1. backup & create test store
2. upload content of catalog to the store root
3. run upgrade/upgrade.php from browser
4. if everything worked on the test server do it on the live server (make sure to put in maintenance mode)

Learned my lesson with keeping tabs on customized changes to files from now on. :D

If you have a specific Huge file (9MB) in your shop for purchase using FDS, and you want to replace this
file with a new version of this file, you can do an update in your admin.

File Distribution -> File Library -> select file and press EDIT.
There you can browse to a new file and click 'File Update'. After that, click on SAVE.
After some time, you see a new screen 'Library File Edit' and all entries are cleared.

No file is updated...

Strange thing: it works nice with small files !!

This bug was already in v6.4.0 and it's still there !!!

Bug added also to ussue tracker today !

I am not sure that is a bug.. but your server limiting uploads to 2meg or whatever low number(which is common)

In some cases that's possible, but I have checked that:

Via CRE->Admin->Tools->Server Info you can find all the server details,
the upload-limitation is in my case:

-----
upload_max_filesize 12M
-----

A file of 8MB will be accepted...
It's a bug or a 'not-solved issue' :?
