In the Canada Post shipping module it will take the Canada Post shipping quote (which is an aggregate quote for all packages) and multiple it by the # of packages as determined by the max. package weight specified in admin and the actual weight of the items thus giving an erroneous quote for anything beyond 1 package.

With UPS if the maximum package size is set to the proper maximum for UPS packages then the quotation shows up correctly either because UPS returns a quote per package and CRE multiplies it or UPS gives and aggregate quotation and CRE displays it without modification.
